  Established as the Department of Transportation Engineering (40 students per entering class)

  Delivered the first graduating class

  Merged with the Department of Urban Engineering

• 1995

  Instituted graduate degree programs (M.S. and Ph.D.)

  Received pre-certification from the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK)

• 2009

  Attained a full accreditation status from ABEEK

• 2011

  Achieved employment rate of 93.3% for recent graduates (#1)

• 2013

  Professor Kihyuk Kim was elected the president of Korea Society of Transportation, the largest transportation-related academic and trade association group in Korea

• 2015

  Restructured to Transportation Engineering Major in the Faculty of Urban Studies at the University

• 2019

  Celebrated the 30th anniversary
