Welcome to Transportation Engineering major in the Faculty of Urban Studies at Keimyung University.
Transportation engineering is an academic field that scientifically approaches the fundamental concepts of traffic-related phenomena and activities. We are passionate about moving people and goods in safe, fast, comfortable, reliable, and affordable ways.
This department, established in 1989, is the second oldest transportation degree program in Korean higher education history, and over the past 30 years, has produced many outstanding alumni serving in nearly all aspects of transportation industry nationwide, both academic and professional, both private and public, and both research and trade.
Currently we have six distinguished full-time professors, each established and renowned in own rights, and also, two adjunct professors, who are respected professionals in the field. Together, core curriculum is carefully planned to offer a wholesome learning experience for students, and advising is further provided to help them emerge as proficiently trained and technically qualified to undertake all modern, complex transportation problems.
